hi! i’m briana.
Therapist in Denver
Well, shit! You’re trying to find a therapist in Denver. That can be…daunting. Let’s see if I can help.
I help stressed out and anxious professionals of any gender to heal trauma, make work suck less, and get good at relationships.
If…
You need a safe place to heal where your queer, transgender, or non-binary identity is celebrated
You’re a hard worker, passionate, and maybe a little bit of a people-pleaser, and stress and anxiety are leaving you drained and burned out
You don’t want to keep worrying about how old trauma is limiting your life
You met someone great, but you don’t want to old patterns to play out again and you need a way to handle conflict
There just doesn’t seem to be enough time in the day and you’re stretched too thin
Your queer or transgender identity is important to you (sacred, even) but you don’t want that to be the only thing people focus on about you
You’re ready to invest in making the inside of your head (and the rest of your life!) a good place to be
-
Imagine yourself...
Not being weighed down by trauma
Being queer af in a world that might not want you to be
Being a badass (but not an arrogant one) at work
In thriving relationships with people you actually like
Focused and energized while caring about the world
Really, really liking your life (most of the time—I mean, I’m not a wizard)

What My Colleagues Are Saying
Briana is one of the best clinicians with whom I have had the pleasure to work. She is so thoughtful, warm, insightful and incredibly skilled. She is the kind of therapist that clients are fortunate to see for support and colleagues are inspired by as she keeps us learning and growing in the best possible way.
— Jennifer Schroeder, LCSW
Briana is incredibly empathetic, compassionate, knowledgeable, and authentic. She has the rare gift of creating a space that feels non-judgmental, genuine, and safe for all of her clients and colleagues. I would whole-heartedly trust her with any referral personally and professionally. I feel very fortunate to know her and I believe my life is better for knowing her. I think you will feel the same way when you get the opportunity to work with her in the counseling space.

I plan to be out on parental leave from August through October 2023, so I’m not currently accepting new clients. Enter your email on the pop-up box to be alerted when I’m accepting new clients again!

I don’t. I provide a FREE 20-minute consultation to see if we’re a good fit and my fee for a 50-minute appointment is $195. Some clients submit superbills to insurance and can have part or all of sessions covered if they have out-of-network mental health benefits. Some clients also pay with an HSA (health savings account). I do not accept victim’s compensation.

Yes! I provide telehealth counseling for safety and convenience. I can provide therapy across the state of Colorado. Due to licensing laws, I’m unable to provide therapy to clients outside of Colorado.
Costs and Good Faith Estimate
The No Surprises Act is a new law which protects you from unexpected fees for medical services not covered by insurance (but we don’t do surprise fees around here anyway!) Click below to read about costs of therapy and your right to a Good Faith Estimate.
